Advertise on Calcbase
People arrive here mid-decision, which is a rare and valuable moment. Here is how we would let a business reach them, and the lines we will not cross to do it.
Who reads this site
Someone using a Calcbase calculator is not browsing. They are working out whether they can afford a house, a car, a child or a change of job, usually within days or weeks of acting on the answer.
That makes the audience small but unusually well qualified, and it also makes it fragile. A visitor who feels sold to during a financial decision does not come back.
What we would run
Sponsorship of a section or an individual calculator, clearly labelled as sponsored, sitting alongside the result rather than inside it.
A single relevant display placement per page, below the calculator, never overlapping or interrupting a result.
Content partnerships where the useful thing is the tool itself, for example a co-built calculator that answers a question in your field properly.
What we will not run
Anything that changes a calculation, reorders a result, or makes an outcome look better or worse than the arithmetic says. The number is the product. It is not for sale.
Interstitials, pop-ups, autoplay, anything that moves the page while someone is reading it, or anything that makes the calculator harder to use on a phone.
High-cost credit, debt management referrals, and anything that would put us into regulated financial promotion. We are not FCA authorised and we are not going to blur that line for a placement.
Advertising that is not visibly distinguishable from our own content.
How it would be labelled
Every paid placement carries a visible label. Affiliate links, if we ever use them, are disclosed on the page they appear on and not only in a policy nobody reads.
Registering interest
Use the contact form and choose "Advertising and partnerships". Tell us what you sell and who you want to reach, and we will come back to you when there is something real to discuss.
We would rather have a short conversation about fit than send you a media pack for an audience that would not convert.
